Strategic trade-offs impacting our capitals

Based on our business model that optimises capital inputs to create sustainable value, we made purposeful trade-offs to support our strategic priorities.

Strategic trade-offs

Creating sustainable long-term value

Creating sustainable long-term value requires NSSF to make deliberate decisions about how financial and non-financial resources are allocated. These decisions often involve balancing short-term costs, investment requirements, or operational complexity against opportunities to create greater long-term value for members, stakeholders, and Uganda.

The trade-offs to follow illustrate some of the strategic choices made during the year and demonstrate how the Fund balances financial sustainability with its broader purpose of creating inclusive sustainable wellbeing and supporting Uganda's long-term socio-economic development.
