Advancing sustainability and accountability

Advancing sustainability and accountability

The roadmap issued by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) for the adoption of IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 provides a phased approach to strengthening sustainability-related reporting. For NSSF, this means continuing to embed sustainability considerations into risk management, controls, data, and reporting processes.

Responsible procurement and tax

We continued to apply responsible procurement practices in line with our Procurement Policy and applicable PPDA requirements, promoting ethical procurement, fair competition, value optimisation, accountability, and sustainability.

We also maintained an open and constructive relationship with the Uganda Revenue Authority while fulfilling our tax and disclosure obligations.
