  • Selected suppliers based on ethical and responsible conduct
  • Conducted supplier due diligence and market visits before and after contracting
  • Held one-to-one engagements on service delivery, collaboration and issue resolution
  • Convened the Annual Suppliers Forum to strengthen communication and partnership
  • Collaborated with suppliers on environmental impact and labour standards
  • Reviewed contracts and clarified commercial terms, performance obligations and payment arrangements
  • Established Service Level Agreements with service providers
  • Provided feedback on successful and unsuccessful tender outcomes
  • Onboarded new partners to strengthen local supplier participation

Strategic response, value creation and outcomes

  • Continued working closely with suppliers and service providers to deliver quality services, strengthen business relationships and create opportunities for suppliers
  • UGX 1.5 trillion in procurement contracts since 2018
  • 90% procurement process performance, maintained at 2025 level, attributed to improved processes and staff awareness
  • 193 in-person participants and 7,074 live and on-demand viewers at the Annual Suppliers Forum, with a 99% Supplier Satisfaction Index
  • Conducted four trainings for at least 80 internal procurement champions on PPDA regulations and practices, supporting improved processes
  • 91% Internal Audit compliance and 93.5% Enterprise Risk Management compliance
  • Generated UGX 3.9 billion in savings, while disposal activities realised UGX 333 million in proceeds
  • Ensured purchased products were made, delivered and disposed of in a socially and environmentally responsible manner
  • Applied the Sustainable Procurement Charter, alongside technology and digitisation across procurement and disposal processes
  • Continued implementing waste management and disposal practices across major procurements where required
