Partners and industry associations are key interfaces with our customers. They enable us to reach more people and extend the Fund’s impact through collaboration, playing a critical role in delivering our strategy.

  • Collaborated with telecoms, MDAs, universities, businesses and NGOs
  • Held one-to-one physical and virtual business meetings
  • Conducted benchmark visits, presentations and training sessions
  • Collaborated with partners to extend social security coverage in the informal sector
  • Worked with banks, bank agents and telecoms on collections, benefits payments and financial market operations
  • Hosted local and regional benchmarking engagements to share knowledge and best practice
  • Continued hosting the ISSA Liaison Office coordinating activities across East Africa

Strategic response, value creation and outcomes

  • Collaborated with 80+ partners to extend the Fund's impact in the informal sector
  • With ABSA Bank, extended career guidance to 11 universities, reaching more than 140,362 students
  • Collaborated with NIRA, URA, URSB and the Office of Immigration on solutions that improved customer convenience
  • Mastercard Foundation partnership supported 500+ small and growing businesses with USD 20,000 in seed funding each over the last five years
  • Co-convened the Kampala Gathering, bringing together pension funds, fund managers and ecosystem partners to unlock financing for Africa's small and growing businesses
  • Worked with banks, bank agents and telecoms to support collections, benefits payments and financial market operations
