Creating opportunities for every Ugandan to save, grow and thrive

01

Financial inclusion lies at the heart of NSSF's purpose of improving lives and creating inclusive sustainable wellbeing. By expanding access to long-term savings, introducing innovative member-focused products, and strengthening financial literacy, the Fund is empowering more Ugandans to build financial security, whether they are formally employed, self-employed or working in the informal sector.

02

Our growing suite of savings solutions encourages members not only to contribute through mandatory employment but also to build additional wealth through voluntary savings. By making it easier to save more, save earlier and save flexibly, NSSF is helping individuals and families strengthen their financial resilience while supporting Uganda's long-term economic development.

03

Empowering voluntary savings

Introduced in November 2024, Smartlife Flexi represents an important milestone in expanding financial inclusion beyond mandatory savings. The voluntary savings product provides members with the flexibility to determine how much they save, how frequently they contribute and the financial goals they wish to achieve.

04

Designed to support both existing members wishing to build additional savings and individuals in the informal sector seeking long-term financial security, Smartlife Flexi provides a simple, accessible, and flexible savings solution that empowers members to take greater control of their financial future.
