2. Partnerships for greater impact
We journey
together
Why this matters for long-term value creation
NSSF creates greater value by working together with members, employers, Government, regulators, investment partners, service providers, industry bodies, and communities. As social security expands beyond traditional formal employment, strategic partnerships have become increasingly important in extending coverage, improving accessibility, and reaching previously underserved population groups.
Collaboration enables the Fund to leverage trusted networks, digital platforms and community organisations to broaden financial inclusion, strengthen compliance, improve service delivery, and encourage lifelong saving. These partnerships also support innovation, strengthen stakeholder confidence, and reinforce the Fund's contribution to Uganda's long-term socio-economic development.
By working together with organisations that share our purpose, NSSF is expanding access to social security while creating shared value for members, partners, communities, and the nation.
Our strategic response
To strengthen partnerships for greater impact, we continue to:
Expand strategic partnerships that increase access to social security, particularly within Uganda's informal sector
Strengthen collaboration with employers, Government, regulators, and industry partners to improve compliance, service delivery, and member outcomes
Build partnerships that advance financial literacy, digital inclusion, and long-term financial wellbeing
Deepen stakeholder engagement and strengthen mechanisms for listening and responding to stakeholder expectations
Leverage technology and strategic alliances to extend the Fund's reach and improve accessibility
FY2025/26 progress
