The Fund took on a leading role in convening social security and pension funds across the East African region under the Africa Pension Infrastructure Fund project, which aims to pool funds for joint infrastructure investments in the region. So far, nine institutions are actively participating in the project and envisage launching the Fund in the near future.
Uganda High Commission in Nairobi Diaspora Business Forum
The Fund formed a strategic partnership with the Uganda High Commission in Nairobi to host an annual Diaspora Business Forum, with the objective of extending voluntary products and services to Ugandans living and working in the diaspora, as well as real estate housing offers. The events attract an average of 350 to 400 participants from the Ugandan diaspora in Kenya.
National Pension Schemes Authority of Zambia (NAPSA)
The Fund was invited by the NAPSA Zambia to share best practices and initiate discussions on inter-institutional exchange opportunities aimed at enhancing the operations and strategic outcomes of both the Fund and NAPSA Zambia.
