Corporation Secretary – responsibilities and value created

Ms. Agnes Tibayeita Isharaza has served as Corporation Secretary / Chief Legal Officer since 1 April 2019. She holds an Executive MBA from the Eastern and Southern African Management Institute (ESAMI), a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre where she was awarded the Attorney General's Prize, a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Makerere University, and is a Chartered Governance Graduate (GradCG). Her role under Section 42 of the NSSF Act is vital to the Fund's functioning, with unfettered, arm's-length access to the Board and all four committees.

Providing legal guidance on all Fund activities, including investment processes and compliance.

Legal support provided across major real estate investments (Lubowa, Temangalo, Bwebajja); land litigation managed; employer arrear recoveries achieved. No material legal breaches.
