This year's theme, We Believe in You: A Shared Journey to Inclusive Sustainable Wellbeing, reflects the essence of our purpose as a Fund. It speaks to our belief in the aspirations of our members, the collective strength of our stakeholders and the immense potential of Uganda's future. As a Board, we recognise that creating sustainable wellbeing requires trust, responsible stewardship, and a commitment to creating long-term value for those we serve.

Every contribution entrusted to the Fund represents more than a financial investment. It represents a dream, a family, a livelihood and the opportunity for a better tomorrow. The Board therefore remains committed to ensuring that members' savings are protected, responsibly invested, and positioned to create enduring value. At the same time, we recognise the increasingly significant role that NSSF can play in supporting Uganda's socio-economic transformation.

During the financial year ended 30 June 2026, the Board maintained its focus on strategic oversight, sustainable growth, and value creation. This was achieved against a backdrop of global economic uncertainty, changing market dynamics and evolving stakeholder expectations. Despite these challenges, the Fund continued to demonstrate resilience and strengthen its position as East Africa’s largest and most trusted social security institution.

The year was characterised by continued growth in assets under management, progress in expanding social security coverage, advancement of our Vision 2035 ambitions and a strengthened commitment to supporting Uganda's long-term national development priorities.
